Dalberg Global Development Advisors is a strategic consulting firm that works exclusively to raise living standards in developing countries and address global issues like climate change and public health. We are for-profit but not profit-maximizing; we only take projects that will advance our social mission. Our work helps governments, foundations, international agencies, NGOs, and Fortune 500 companies to make sustainable improvements in the lives of disadvantaged and underserved populations around the world.

Founded in 2001, our firm now has nearly 200 people of 30 nationalities working in offices around the world. They bring expertise gained in the private sector to bear on problems commonly dealt with in the public and non-profit spheres. We take a holistic approach to global development, touching topics from access to finance and energy policy to public health and human rights. To learn more, please visit our homepage.

Hi y’all! I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your International Women’s Day blog post. It was a wonderful way of highlighting how investing in women provides so many global benefits! I work with Elephant Energy, a Colorado-based non-profit that promotes sustainable social enterprise in Namibia and the Navajo Nation. As we run projects that promote women’s entrepreneurship, it is always nice to partner with other like-minded organizations. Currently, we are partnering with USAID and divi, Inc., to bring power to 16,000 homes in Namibia and Zambia over the next two years. Would you be interested in supporting our efforts by telling our story? You can check out our work at elephant energy.org and the official press release for our Creating Digital Kerosene project at http://tinyurl.com/lo3985m. Thanks for the engaging content, and keep doing what you do!
