Based out of Dalberg’s San Francisco office, Scott is an Associate Partner and a member of Dalberg Advisors' ICT practice, specializing in applications of FinTech, ICT4Ag, and satellites in emerging markets. His overarching objective is to help multinational technology firms, development agencies, and leading foundations build digital economies in emerging markets, and has worked across Sub Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. This includes developing strategy and organizational plans for leading technology companies, to advising funders on building investment pipelines, to developing financing vehicles that encourage tech entrepreneurship, to publishing advocacy reports calling for increased inclusion of underrepresented talent in the global tech sector.
Before joining Dalberg Scott worked for the Monitor Group and Bain & Company, where he advised Fortune 100 companies and the US Government on their strategies, investments, and communications. Scott holds a MA in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, where he concentrated in International Development. He holds dual BAs in History and Psychology from Brown University.
