- The fund concept emerged from a Nigerian SMEs agricultural finance market assessment done by Dalberg.
- Afterwards, Dalberg was engaged to design and structure a growth capital fund, supporting fund manager recruitment, and developing operational documents.
- Dalberg also helped facilitate fund incorporation and early fundraising processes.
