Wijnand de Wit is a Partner at Dalberg Advisors, based in Geneva. He co-leads the firm’s organizational effectiveness practice, offering strategic planning, organizational transformation, and strategic execution services. He has extensive experience in supporting international organizations and multi-stakeholder partnerships in global health, agriculture, and trade.

As of April 2024, Wijnand is working on a review of strategy, product portfolio, and operating model with the Gold Standard Foundation—a standards body and thought leader advocating excellence in climate and development projects. He is also overseeing the Project Management Office on health emergency preparedness and response for the partnership between the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) and the WHO Regional offices EMRO and AFRO.

Prior to these projects, he supported WHO AFRO on an initiative to ensure its fitness for purpose for health emergency preparedness and response; CGIAR in bringing together 12 independent research centers under one operating structure; the Green Climate Fund on a review of its operating model; the Global Partnership for Education on a comprehensive review of its capacity to deliver on its strategy; and the World Intellectual Property Organization on the design and implementation of an organization-wide strategic realignment program. He has also supported organizations such as the International Telecommunications Union, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the World Health Organization, and the GAVI Alliance with strategic execution services.

Before joining Dalberg, Wijnand worked at KPMG Consulting in the Netherlands on financial management in the public and private sectors. Wijnand holds an MBA from Nyenrode University and a Bachelor’s degree from Rijswijk Polytechnic in logistics management. He is a Certified Management Accountant.
