JULIA ROHRER

Julia is an Associate Partner and Director of Dalberg’s New York Office. Her work focuses on advancing gender and health equity around the world, and she co-leads Dalberg’s work on health equity in the United States. She has advised foundations, nonprofits, companies, and donor agencies to develop their strategies, launch new initiatives, build partnerships, and evaluate their impact in the US and globally.

Recent examples of her work include facilitating the strategic planning process for Women Donors Network, a network of feminist philanthropists seeking to advance gender, racial, economic, and climate justice; supporting a women’s health company to develop a signature initiative to increase contraceptive access, knowledge, and equity; and supporting Vitala Global, a nonprofit focused on sexual and reproductive health, to explore new market entry.

Outside of Dalberg, Julia has worked with Hey Jane, a digital reproductive health startup, and on the Clinton Health Access Initiative’s Global Sexual and Reproductive Health team. At the height of the pandemic, she worked at Gavi and COVAX to support equitable financing and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines in low- and middle-income countries. She has an MPP with a focus on social and urban policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA (summa cum laude) from Yale.
