GAURAV GUPTA

Gaurav Gupta is the Global Managing Partner for Dalberg Advisors. His career has spanned strategy consulting, setting up a policy think tank in Australia on Indigenous rights, founding numerous social enterprises, and starting Dalberg Advisors’ operations in Asia. 

Gaurav currently advises several of the world’s largest philanthropies on understanding and increasing the impact of their grant-making. He also works with private sector organizations in articulating their social purpose and developing strategies to contribute to global sustainable development goals. Prior to taking on the global leadership role at Dalberg, he headed the firm’s Climate Change and Measurement practices, along with leading its Asia region.

Beyond Dalberg, Gaurav sits on the Board of Educate Girls, one of India’s largest NGOs focused on girl education and empowerment. He is also an active impact investor. Gaurav holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University and a postgraduate degree in Development Economics from Yale University. He was also a Fairfax scholar at the United World College of Hong Kong.
