JASPER GROSSKURTH

Dr. Jasper Grosskurth is the Managing Director of Dalberg Research, where he leads innovation in research products and methodologies while overseeing the company’s global operations.

With over 20 years of experience in research and consulting, Dr. Jasper has been instrumental in establishing Dalberg Research as a leader in delivering granular data insights critical for decision-making in emerging markets. He played a key role in founding the Location Analytics (LOCAN℠) database, which helps our clients leverage geospatial data to gain insights into how location impacts the resolution of complex challenges.

His work consistently addresses long-term development and sustainability challenges, with a strong focus on societal transitions and climate initiatives. He has managed large-scale, multi-country projects on youth employment, financial inclusion and agriculture for clients such as the Mastercard Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the World Bank. Currently, his focus is on leading climate initiatives such as the geospatial climate risk analysis for infrastructure in India, supported by The Rockefeller Foundation.

Dr. Jasper holds a PhD in Integrated Sustainability Assessment and an MSc in International Economic Studies from Maastricht University.
