JEFFREY BERGER

Jeff is a Principal in Dalberg Advisors’ New York office, where he focuses on helping private, public, and social sector organizations achieve their climate and sustainability goals. He specializes in fostering cross-sector collaborations and channeling climate finance to create sustainable supply chains, accelerate regenerative agriculture, and build organizational and community resilience to climate impacts.

Recent highlights of his work include advising The Nature Conservancy on scaling financing for regenerative foodscapes, designing a platform to facilitate renewable energy procurement for a consortium of Fortune 500 companies in retail, tech, and apparel, and helping an agtech company define its carbon credit issuance strategy.

Jeff returned to Dalberg after leading the Americas region at LRQA Sustainability (formerly ELEVATE), where he managed consulting teams across the U.S., Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico. There, he helped multinational companies in food & beverage, retail, apparel, and consumer goods sectors manage supply chain sustainability risks while navigating ESG regulations and meeting investor expectations.

Previously, Jeff was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, advising public and private sector clients in the U.S. and Brazil. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, Jeff brings a global perspective to his work, leveraging his diverse experience across sectors and geographies.
