Afua is a Partner with Dalberg Advisors based in New York and serves as the firm’s Global Inclusion Advisor, with a focus on increasing diversity, strengthening the culture of inclusion, and advancing principles of equity and justice.
Over the last two decades, Afua has advised companies, foundations, governments, and multi-lateral organizations on strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, and private sector engagement initiatives in emerging and frontier markets. This includes a five-year term as Team Leader for USAID’s Investment Support Program (ISP).
Prior to joining Dalberg, Afua was a consultant with PwC in Tanzania and worked with the Government of Rwanda as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow. Afua holds an MSc in Development Studies from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies and a BA (Hons) in Economics and Development Studies from the University of Manchester.
