Bhavana is Director of Programs at Dalberg Catalyst. Bhavana spent several years at Dalberg Advisors, where she worked in partnership with government agencies, foundations, companies and NGOs to create better outcomes for low-income communities across the world, particularly within the realms of global health, agriculture, and nutrition. She has also worked as independent advisor to various food and beverage companies seeking to understand how to play a meaningful role in disaster response efforts. Her clients include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Gavi Vaccine Alliance, USAID, Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, and Anheuser-Busch InBev. Prior to her work in consulting, Bhavana worked as a human rights researcher and advocate at Amnesty International and as a fellow at Shashwat, a grassroots organization working to improve educational outcomes for first-generation learners in western India. Bhavana graduated with a dual B.A. in Economics & History from the University of Maryland at College Park and holds an M.A. in International Development from Johns Hopkins SAIS.
