Creative Lead, Dalberg Design

Gabriel is a Creative Lead in Nairobi. His expertise lies in designing income-boosting products and strategies that serve low-income customers, particularly in the agriculture and financial inclusion space. He is passionate about collaborating with clients to identify and deliver solutions to complex challenges, drawing on creative facilitation and human-centered design skills where appropriate.

Prior to joining Dalberg, Gabriel led the design of new services at Proximity Designs, an agriculture-focused social enterprise in Myanmar. Over a two-year period he supported multidisciplinary teams to design and launch a soil testing service and an individual-liability micro-finance loan for smallholder farmers. He also contributed to a range of internal initiatives, from building Proximity’s service design capacity to developing an integrated product delivery platform.

Gabriel holds a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy & Economics, an M.A. in Conflict, Security & Development, and recently completed the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Program. In 2015 he received a Churchill Fellowship to conduct research on the drivers of social mobility in Lebanon, South Africa & Morocco.
