Mark Freedman

Mark Freedman is a Partner in Dalberg’s New York office. Prior to joining Dalberg, he spent 27 years at BCG, where he was a senior partner in New York and Paris. Among other roles, Mark was BCG’s global leader for Industrial Goods, as well as founder and leader of the infrastructure and water practices. Mark was also active in both the public sector and in social impact while at BCG and led the firm’s partnership with Save the Children International. Before BCG, Mark spent 7 years with Save the Children-US, primarily in Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Zimbabwe.
 
As a consultant, Mark has worked in energy and energy equipment, infrastructure, transportation, economic development, water, environmental services, and sustainability and social impact. Mark is an international speaker on infrastructure, large public projects and public-private partnerships. 
 
Mark holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA and Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University, with a concentration in economic and political development. Mark serves on the Board of Safe Horizon in NYC, a leading agency protecting victims of domestic violence, and on Save the Children’s Innovation Council.
