Associate Partner, Dalberg Advisors

Modou is an Associate Partner in Dalberg’s Senegal office. His areas of expertise include industrialization, market research, and business and financial analysis for investment decision support.

Among other projects, Modou recently piloted a study on commercial and private investment opportunities in innovative on-site sanitation technologies in four West African countries: Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and Senegal. The study also included the development of market incentives for both investors and end users to drive uptake and scale. He also recently supported the Government of Senegal in updating its industrial policy and USAID to assess economic opportunities that would drive both commercial and social impact.

Modou has a diploma in finance (DESCAF), a diploma in business and administration (DESCAE), and a higher diploma in accounting (DSC) from the École Supérieure Polytechnique (ESP). Modou is fluent in French and English.
