Nathan is a Data Scientist at the Dalberg Nairobi office with experience working with the health and finance sectors across Sub-Saharan Africa. Recently, Nathan supported the Ministry of Health of Uganda and UNICEF in building data visualization and analysis tools for COVID-19 risk monitoring as well as tracking continuity of essential care services across the Country.
Previously, Nathan helped the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation determine the potential for integrating the delivery of a common antibiotic into existing mass delivery programs in six West African countries. Nathan also helped USAID and members of the Council of Smallholder Agricultural Finance in getting better insights from their loan data and then use those insights to design an industry-wide financing facility lending to harder to reach segments of the agricultural SMEs market.
Prior to joining DDI, Nathan worked as a strategy consultant at Dalberg Advisors, in European diplomacy, and policy-oriented research. Nathan holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
