One of the findings of a survey conducted by WisdomCircle and Dalberg is that older adults want to continue working well past their retirement age as it gives them a sense of purpose. The country’s institutions, which are geared towards the average retirement age of 60, need to recalibrate themselves to meet the aspirations of India’s senior citizens.
