Girish Pendse is an Associate Partner at Dalberg Advisors, based in Chicago. His work focuses on advancing economic mobility and justice, with a particular focus on inclusive economic and workforce development. He advises government agencies, nonprofits, and foundations on strategic planning, the launch of new initiatives, and evaluating and communicating their impact.
Recent examples of his work include supporting GLIDE, a nonprofit serving the most vulnerable in San Francisco, to develop new strategic initiatives that create pathways out of poverty for their unhoused clients; facilitating the strategic planning process for the Food Research & Action Center, a leading advocacy organization working to end hunger in America; and developing a monitoring and evaluation plan and data management system for the AB InBev Foundation’s City Pilots program.
Prior to joining Dalberg, Girish was an Engagement Manager at Strategy& and worked in the Chicago Mayor’s Office in their Economic and Neighborhood Development team. Girish holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he focused on inclusive economic and urban development, as well as a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
