The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day—Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress—was an urgent reminder to back women-led projects and initiatives to drive social and economic progress. With only six years left to meet the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the upcoming World Bank Spring Meetings are an opportunity to further intensify the focus on mobilizing resources. Against this backdrop, we bring you a selection of recent project work from our team—each one led by one of our management team members—that show what investing in and with women can achieve. These are projects that invest in women’s enjoyment of human rights, access to basic needs (health, education), and their leadership in just, equitable, regenerative societies.
