SANA ZICCARDI

Sana Ziccardi is an Associate Partner based in Dalberg’s Washington, DC office. She advises public, private, and social sector leaders on strategic planning, organizational design, implementation planning, and market entry strategies. In particular, she works closely with C-suite leaders of large NGOs and international organizations to manage change in periods of rapid growth. She has extensive experience in private sector development, economic mobility, and conflict, security, and humanitarian aid.  

Sana’s recent projects have involved complex, multi-year growth and transformation efforts, including (1) conducting an organizational review and developing country footprint models for an international humanitarian NGO, (2) identifying a decision-making and governance framework for a global climate think tank, (3) developing private sector opportunity assessments for multiple countries in West Africa, (4) analyzing market entry opportunities in Africa for an enterprise blockchain start-up, and (5) developing strategic plans for various US-based funders and non-profits. 

Prior to Dalberg, Sana worked at Monitor Deloitte, serving governments, corporations, and non-profits on strategy and mergers and acquisitions engagements. She has also worked at Off Grid Electric (now Zola), a distributed solar start-up operating in Africa, where she helped launch a new office and developed a go-to-market plan for a new product.  

Sana holds an MBA and MA from The Wharton School & Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Yale University. She also has an executive certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. She was born in Pakistan and speaks Urdu, Hindi, English, and French.
