JAMES EUSTACE

James Eustace, Partner & Regional Director for Europe at Dalberg, is based in Geneva and brings nearly two decades of diverse experience in fostering organizational change. He joined Dalberg in 2011 where he has collaborated with leaders across sectors and is passionate about helping firms identify and achieve their impact goals. He has worked with smaller NGOs at the beginning of a growth journey as well as with leaders of large organizations on the cusp of a transformative journey and looking for longer-term change management. Towards this aspiration, he guides major reforms, devises strategic initiatives, and supports leadership transitions. Since 2023, he advised CEOs of NGOs in the UK and Norway on growth strategies, focusing on countering digital hate, and supporting environmental advocacy and is now working with a global foundation to build a climate and health strategy. Notably, he recently supported the World Health Organization’s transformation in the Western Pacific Region to bring operational efficiencies and further their goal of empowering country offices. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his work on the strategic review of the Access to COVID Technologies Accelerator partnership led to a series of recommendations around how to improve international cooperation.

James has focused on developing strategies to address infectious and non-communicable diseases globally. He has pioneered approaches to assess health product preferences in low- and middle-income countries, aiding vaccine market understanding. His advisory roles are varied and span from infectious disease outbreak responses to designing impactful funds for health initiatives, including efforts to combat river blindness and African Trypanosomiasis.

Before joining Dalberg, James worked on climate change financing issues in southern Africa and was based in South Africa.
