Dalberg Advisors Appoints James Eustace as the New Regional Director for Europe

Dalberg Advisors, a leading global impact advisory firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Eustace as the Regional Director for Europe. This appointment signifies a new milestone in Dalberg’s European operations, which commenced 20 years ago in Geneva, where James is based, and celebrates a decade of presence with the London Office. Today, the Dalberg Advisors team in Europe includes 80 talented professionals, predominantly women, who drive forward a diverse portfolio of impactful projects.

“James asks the most difficult questions, which is a hallmark of the trusted advisor he is to clients and colleagues. Since joining the firm in 2011, he has become a steward of the Dalberg culture. I am excited to be working alongside him,” says Gaurav Gupta, Global Managing Partner of Dalberg Advisors.

For Dalberg’s clients and partners, James’s leadership signifies dynamic and proactive engagement. “We are committed to convening influential dialogues, offering honest recommendations, and harnessing innovative technologies to advance collaborative efforts. We will deepen our partnerships with large organizations, leveraging their substantial impact, while also supporting the bold and audacious leaders from smaller organizations. Together, we aim to create a ripple effect of lasting change, both now and in the future,” says James Eustace, Partner and Regional Director for Europe.

James brings nearly two decades of diverse experience in fostering organizational change to this role and a strong commitment to executing Dalberg’s global strategy across Europe. His portfolio encompasses major reforms, strategic initiatives, and leadership transitions, including advising CEOs on growth strategies, supporting environmental advocacy, and streamlining operational efficiencies for major global development institutions. James has led strategies to address challenges at the intersection of climate and health, as well as to combat infectious and non-communicable diseases globally. Prior to Dalberg, James worked on climate change financing issues in southern Africa.

Under James’s leadership, Dalberg Advisors in Europe is poised to enhance its work in the region, focusing on developing the next generation of impact leaders. “We are focused on providing a nurturing atmosphere characterized by supportive mentoring and rigorous challenges. Our recruitment strategy will continue to target top talent who possess strong technical expertise and a strategic approach to tackling pressing global issues,” says James.

Dalberg invites clients, partners, and future talents to join the firm in welcoming James Eustace, as it looks forward to forging pathways that lead to sustainable change across Europe and beyond.
