Dalberg Media supported the establishment of an action-oriented network of philanthropists, organizations and individual experts that seeks to identify and support interventions that have a measurable impact on the lives of refugees and migrants. Working in collaboration with social entrepreneurs, NGOs, multilaterals, local communities, beneficiaries, refugees and migrants, we helped identify barriers to responding to the refugee crisis and facilitated the co-development of solutions at two annual workshops with network participants. These workshops focused on a pre-defined challenge and offered a forum for discussing investment and/or funding opportunities to address this challenge.
During the first year of the network, Dalberg Media helped create an online platform from which a newsletter was circulated. We then organized two high-level meetings with over 50 network participants in London, including the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein.
