Associate Partner, Dalberg Advisors

Alice is an Associate Partner with Dalberg Advisors based in Nairobi. With a background working with African governments to design and strengthen institutions for agricultural transformation, Alice is passionate about combining her strategy and organizational effectiveness expertise to develop sustainable food systems.

At Dalberg, she works with international organizations, foundations, governments, and the private sector to develop strategies that strengthen rural livelihoods. In recent engagements, she supported the governments of Malawi, Rwanda, and Ghana to develop food systems strategies and investment plans to achieve the commitments laid out in the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit and supported a leading foundation in Africa to write its organizational strategy to develop and commercialize technologies to drive agricultural productivity.

Previously, Alice worked as a project leader in the analytics team at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency. She supported the organization in developing its 10-year strategy as well as designing programs for the commercialization of livestock value chains. Subsequently, she worked in the design team for the Sudan Agriculture and Livestock Transformation Agency, an initiative of the Prime Minister’s to drive agri-food system transformation.

Prior to moving to East Africa, Alice worked in corporate strategy consulting at OC&C Strategy Consultants in London. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and a Masters of Science in Global Governance & Diplomacy, both from the University of Oxford.
