Boikanyo is a seasoned strategy consultant who brings his pan-African advisory and investment experience to lead initiatives that drive the sustainable development of African economies and communities. He has worked across sub-Saharan Africa, with a broad range of businesses, governments, and development actors in this endeavour.

Boikanyo is an entrepreneur, who strongly believes in the role vibrant businesses and ecosystems play in in not just addressing the day-to-day challenges faced by many communities, but importantly – their ability to identify, develop nuanced approaches and sustainably take advantage of opportunities that truly shift the needle from a development perspective. He brings almost fifteen years’ experience in strategy development, execution, corporate financing and small-scale investing. In this time he has led engagements with some of the largest private and public sector actors in a range of markets including Botswana, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe, with a focus on private sector development, SMME investing, economic inclusion, agriculture development and healthcare.

Born in Botswana, he has lived in, and worked for top tier consulting firms in South Africa and Rwanda, helping clients address a range of challenges and opportunities across the continent.

He has served as a primary active shareholder representative in SMME investments in South Africa, providing strategic and operational assistance to the management team on an ongoing basis. He is also an entrepreneur in his own right and owns a small scale manufacturing business.

Boikanyo holds a Bachelor of Business Sciences with Honours in Economics from Rhodes University, South Africa and is a Golden Key Member.
