Chimdi Onwudiegwu is an Associate Partner based in Nigeria. Chimdi focuses on strategic planning and inclusive business in a wide range of topic areas such as agriculture, renewable energy, digital financial services, health and nutrition, job creation, and entrepreneurship. She is passionate about growing and sustaining livelihoods in Africa through industry growth and entrepreneurship.
At Dalberg, she has worked with multinational corporates and coalitions to conduct multi-country scoping studies to identify high-priority countries, assess commercialization viability, identify opportunity areas, and shortlist potential partners. She has also worked with governments to develop country strategies such as the National Financial Inclusion Strategy, 2018 with the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Medium-Term National Development Plan, 2021 for the Government of Nigeria.
Prior to joining Dalberg, Chimdi was a Financial Associate at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. Chimdi holds an MA in International Development and Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, and has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Covenant University.
