Salvatore Lavallo is an Associate Partner and UAE Office Director at Dalberg, based in Abu Dhabi where he has spent 15 years working across strategic planning, investment, policy reform, and international development.

Beginning his career at McKinsey & Company, Salvatore worked extensively on economic development through education, entrepreneurship, and philanthropic strategy across the Middle East and Africa. He subsequently served as a foreign policy advisor at the Tony Blair Institute.

At the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Salvatore served as Head of FDI Attraction, leading nearly 50 investment and incentive deals generating billions in economic impact across agriculture, tourism, digital infrastructure, and technology. As an ADIO spokesman, he represented the UAE government at nearly 100 events and participated in ministerial-level delegations internationally. At Apeiron Investment Group, he supported the Dubai government on mental health and longevity policy and regulation, and worked on a strategic investments platform in Rwanda.

Salvatore founded Trail of Seeds, an NGO supporting culturally inclusive development projects across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Active in African and Middle Eastern contemporary arts, Salvatore is Managing Partner of Safar Art and Founder of Pamoja Art Projects, sits on various patronage and advisory boards, and has been featured on Larry’s List and Artsy’s Young Collectors to Watch.

In 2017, Salvatore became the youngest person to visit every country in the world, a journey covered by CNN, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler, and CNBC, among others. Salvatore holds degrees from New York University as an MLK Jr Scholar and United World College as Davis Scholar.
