Jeff is a Principal in Dalberg Advisors’ New York office, where he advises organizations navigating major technological and economic transitions, including AI transformation, the buildout of critical mineral supply chains, and the shift toward climate-resilient economies and new models of finance. Across these areas, he focuses on turning large-scale shifts into practical strategies, investment models, partnerships, and operating approaches that can deliver results while managing their broader consequences.

On AI, Jeff advises leaders on how the technology should shape organizational strategy, operating models, and ways of working: where it can create meaningful value, which use cases to prioritize, how teams and capabilities need to evolve, and what governance is appropriate to the risks involved. His work spans AI strategy and adoption, organizational upskilling, use-case prioritization, and the governance and partnership models needed to scale AI effectively. He also advises on how AI is reshaping sectors and institutions, including its implications for climate action, philanthropy, and development in emerging markets.
 
On critical minerals, Jeff co-leads Dalberg’s Responsible Mining practice. He directed an Indigenous partnership strategy for a Canadian mining company focused on employment, enterprise participation, and local governance, and has led similar work on economic opportunities around mining operations in Colombia. He also advises philanthropies in Brazil and India on critical minerals trade and investment and has led work on Brazil’s positioning across climate solutions, including the sustainable development of transition minerals. He co-hosts Critical Supply, a Dalberg podcast on the minerals powering the energy transition.
 
Jeff also brings deep experience in climate and blended finance. His work includes developing blended finance approaches for The Nature Conservancy‘s regenerative agriculture work, building an investment methodology with UNDP to channel institutional capital toward climate and nature outcomes in Brazil, and designing a renewable energy procurement platform for a Fortune 500 consortium spanning retail, technology, and apparel.

Jeff returned to Dalberg in 2024 after leading the Americas region at LRQA Sustainability, formerly ELEVATE, where he advised multinationals, private equity firms, development finance institutions, and law firms on responsible sourcing and supply chain due diligence. Earlier, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, advising clients in Brazil and the United States on infrastructure and public-private partnerships, including a $3 billion bridge PPP.

Jeff holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and speaks French.
