Based in Addis Ababa, Jordan is a Partner and global co-leader of Dalberg Advisors’ Inclusive Growth and Cities practice areas. Jordan’s work spans a broad range of development topics including urban and regional development, industrial policy and clusters, systems analysis and resilience, and innovative finance. He has provided advice on strategy, organizational effectiveness, business planning, and design of new partnerships and initiatives for international public and private investors, national and local governments, and non-governmental organizations.
Jordan’s work with international investors has included developing strategies for contributing to growth and resilience in conflict-affected regions such as northeastern Afghanistan, facilitating private investments in agriculture and industrial sectors, assessing the demand for new project preparation and financing facilities for infrastructure delivery, and designing new partnerships and incentive mechanisms to promote private innovation and influence policy change. His work with governments has mainly involved developing national policy agendas and institutional frameworks for economic transformation, promoting private sector development, and working with cities to strengthen urban resilience.
Jordan holds a Master in International Business degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
