Kashvi is an Associate Partner at Dalberg Advisors, based in Delhi. Over her 13-year career, Kashvi has developed a portfolio of work across gender equity and inclusive business, advising a diverse range of clients—including funders, multilaterals, private sector leaders, and non-profits.
Kashvi’s work in gender equity focuses on women’s economic empowerment, women’s leadership, violence against women and girls (VAWG), and paid and unpaid care. She particularly specializes in uncovering root causes and systemic barriers, and building the case for greater public, philanthropic, and private investment in these areas. Most recently, she supported the United Nations’ Spotlight Initiative, the world’s largest fund dedicated to ending VAWG, in developing a learning agenda to support programming and mobilize greater attention and funding for the sector. She also partnered with a philanthropic foundation in India to map the landscape of funding and programming aimed at women’s safety and care, essential for their full and free participation in public life. She worked with a non-profit in India to support their strategy for advancing women’s leadership in legal aid ecosystem. Her clients in this space include the United Nations, UNICEF, Ford Foundation, Co-impact and IFC.
Kashvi has worked extensively with private companies across sectors to help embed inclusion and sustainability in their supply chains—for suppliers, for workers and employees, for customers, and in communities. She supported a global tech company in developing their strategy for investing in digital skills among young Africans. She worked with IDH Sustainable Trade Initiative to develop their five-year strategy for driving sustainability in palm oil supply chains in Indonesia, Malaysia, India and China. She partnered with the IFC on a study examining how fintechs in emerging markets are advancing women’s financial inclusion.
Kashvi has MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), and Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
