Kiran Willmot is an Associate Partner based in Washington DC. He advises private, public and philanthropic organizations on strategy planning, market assessment, investment appraisal, program design and feasibility assessment. His work focuses on clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, climate-smart agriculture and, more broadly, inclusive economic growth.
Kiran’s recent energy sector work includes scoping renewable energy investments and utility performance improvements in West Africa, identifying policy interventions and financing needs to scale clean energy technologies in emerging markets, and supporting organizations to accelerate decarbonization in their global supply chains.
Prior to Dalberg, Kiran spent 6 years at Atkins Global, an engineering consultancy, where he worked on infrastructure project development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Kiran is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers. He holds a Masters degree in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from University College London and a Masters degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
