Lily Chhatwal is based in Washington D.C. and co-leads Dalberg’s Healthcare practice.  Her expertise lies in partnering with global organizations on strategy development, specifically on growth and impact objectives such as market entry, new product development, and partnerships She has deep expertise across the sector and her clients include organizations from the private sector, national and local governments, and foundations.  She also works at the intersection of health and other sectors like finance, technology, and climate. 

Lily has led numerous engagements focused on product/market fit and new market entry.  Her work is patient-centric, and solutions are designed to improve the patient journey and drive health outcomes.  Her experience spans several therapeutic areas from infectious diseases diabetes, oncology, and inflammation to primary care.  She recently worked with a large global biopharmaceutical company on product development to design the asset profile and estimate market potential.  She is a founding member of Investors for Health, a global community of healthcare investors including development finance institutions (DFIs), private equity funds, venture capital funds, impact investors, pension funds, and large conglomerates with the ambition to build equitable health systems.

Prior to Dalberg, she held leadership roles at other top-tier consulting firms and Fortune 500 private sector companies. She spent time with Roche Pharmaceuticals (Genentech), Visa, Inc., and Deloitte Consulting. Lily has experience leading and building teams and executing transformational projects. She holds an MBA in Finance and Health Sector Management from Duke University and a B.Com in Marketing and Information Systems Management from McGill University.
