Philippa Itabaza is a Project Manager at Dalberg Data Insights based in Kampala, where she leads project teams in delivering data and AI-driven solutions to solve complex technical and organizational challenges for social impact clients. Her experience spans public health, financial services, energy, and climate, with a focus on building inclusive, data-enabled systems. She has recently led bodies of work including the piloting of GenAI solutions to improve community health delivery and financial inclusion, the development of an AI-powered dashboard to inform decision-making for strengthening immunization outcomes, and the design of AI hubs across Africa to accelerate responsible GenAI adoption.

Prior to Dalberg, Philippa spent five years at Accenture where she supported engagements focused on implementing innovative technology designed to drive operational transformation and catalyze business growth. She also spent two years at Open Capital in Uganda where she developed deeper insights about the digital landscape in Africa.

Philippa holds a Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of York in the United Kingdom.
