Rym is an Associate Partner based in Morocco. Her work covers Africa and the Middle East, ranging from strategic planning to program design and evaluation. Her sectoral experience includes inclusive business development, education and employment, environmental sustainability and ICT.

Rym led several engagements aimed to drive private engagement in national development. She explored the opportunity to launch a Plastics Pact (a voluntary agreement between private actors to foster plastics circularity) in Morocco and initiated the development of such Pact in Senegal. She investigated the opportunity for large hotel brands to increase their local sourcing of products, as a way to drive employment. She led a team to assess the funding gap required to reach the SDGs in Morocco and to outline sustainable funding strategies involving the private sector.

Rym also worked alongside several development players on skills and jobs development – such as designing a mass entrepreneurship strategy for youth and women in Senegal; running a mid-term evaluation of a Qatari fund that supports youth start-ups in Tunisia; or analyzing education ecosystems and learning outcomes in seven African countries.

Before joining Dalberg, Rym worked for close to a decade in the Telco & Media department of Capgemini Consulting, supporting private corporations on their market entry, investment, innovation, and transformation strategies, as well as the launch of new products/services, particularly in the ICT sector.

Rym holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Telecom Paris, and in Industrial Organization from Paris-Dauphine University. She is Algerian & Moroccan and lives in Rabat after spending six years in Dalberg’s Dakar office.
