Vismit is an Associate Partner based in Dalberg’s New Delhi office. He brings significant consulting experience across India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. His focus areas include education, innovative finance, and climate. He is passionate about leveraging technology and blended finance to address key social sector challenges.

At Dalberg, he has led the design and performance management of India’s largest education-focused impact bond the Lift:Ed DIB, co-led the design and performance management of one of the largest impact bonds in education globally (Quality Education India DIB), developed a sustainable mobility strategy for a state government in India, and advised a national government in Africa on their digital transformation efforts. He has worked with national and local governments, multilateral institutions, leading global foundations, impact investors, and NGOs in creating go-to-market and scale-up strategies, designing and setting up investment instruments, and developing outcome-oriented solutions.

Prior to joining Dalberg, Vismit worked in the energy industry and at an IoT startup. He has also advised renewable energy startups on their product and business model design in the past. He holds a graduate degree in engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Delhi.
