Stig Tackmann is Associate Director at Dalberg Media, based out of Dalberg’s Copenhagen office. He has core competences in print and online communication, including production, writing and editing of magazines, books and reports. Stig has recently published the book “17 Big Bets for a Better World” and is heading a vast number of communication initiatives, including educational material around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); UNLEASH, the major talent based convening around the SDGs in Denmark and a number of online based news platforms. Stig possesses in-depth knowledge about production of media products and the structuring of processes towards the launch of written products, conferences and web.
Prior to joining Dalberg, Stig has worked as editor-in-chief for Denmark’s leading international news magazine, RÆSON. Here, he led a dedicated team of journalists, editors, and media professionals to publish daily online as well as print publications on international politics, economics and media. In addition, he has also worked in the Danish Ministry of Finance, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Danish Embassy in Berlin. Stig holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Columbia University in New York. At Columbia, Stig specialized in security issues related to climate change and development. Stig also holds Bachelor and Master degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
