DANIELLE SWEENEY

Associate Partner, Dalberg Advisors

Danielle Sweeney is an Associate Partner with our Washington D.C. office and a certified professional coach.  She partners with clients to develop equitable strategies and investment models using highly collaborative approaches and supports leaders to navigate complex situations.

Danielle’s recent work includes crafting a collaborative approach with Hispanics in Philanthropy leadership to refine and operationalize their refreshed strategy, working with USAID to develop a Digital Health Fund concept, prioritizing funding and impact for women in the Global South, and supporting 2X Global with its ongoing work to build and strengthen the gender lens investing field.

She also has a keen interest in mental well-being and early childhood development, including developing a social impact strategy for a multi-billion dollar health and fitness company across several markets and co-leading the technical advisory and coaching support for the LEGO Foundation’s recent Build a World of Play Challenge.

Within Dalberg, Danielle plays a lead role in our internal mental well-being initiative, Dalberg Minds, and coaches emerging leaders.  She was previously the Chief of Staff for the Dalberg Trust, working alongside the Dalberg Group Chairman.

Prior to Dalberg, she was the CFO at Coschool, an education social enterprise operating in Latin America, and a Manager at Deloitte U.K.  Danielle holds a Master of Arts from Cambridge University in Natural Sciences, specializing in Psychology, and a Master of Business Administration from I.E. Business School, Madrid.  She has professional proficiency in English and Spanish, and has lived and worked in Latin America, West Africa, Europe, and the US.
