Jyothi Vynatheya Oberoi is a Partner based in Mumbai. She advises private and public sector players on strategy planning and market assessment, program design, and monitoring and evaluation.

Jyothi’s focus areas at Dalberg include public health, access to energy, and youth programming. She is supporting a Fortune 100 energy company on sustainable energy initiatives, currently leading an effort to determine the role and opportunity for private sector engagement in energy services delivery in situations of displacement. She recently worked on an early-stage pilot design for value-based innovations to the tuberculosis treatment pathway and outpatient management of chronic diseases in India. Her other work also includes the development of a five-year donation strategy focused on youth programming for a large foundation, an organizational strategy for an alliance geared towards mass entrepreneurship as an engine for jobs, and the design of program-specific and portfolio-wide monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks for a large foundation.

Prior to Dalberg, Jyothi worked for The Earth Institute (Columbia University) on a district-level health systems strengthening initiative with the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, focusing on maternal and child health services delivery. Jyothi also previously worked for IMS Consulting in New York where her work involved developing market entry and launch pricing strategies for large pharmaceutical and medical device companies. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania.
